Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing great. We are moving along to Jolly Old Saint Nicholas this week.
Please look at the music part you need according to the instrument you are using. Again, if you do not have an instrument, stick with the violin part and do those fingerings!
Make sure to complete the exit slip for this week. Please be sure to have your music and instruments ready to go before class starts. See you soon!

This week, we'll be continuing on the 3 melodies we've been practicing in class. Your exit slip will be your practice log below. Tuning your instrument, singing the melodies (even in your head) and the movement of your fingers to the music could all count as practice so please be sure to include that in your practice log as well.
Please practice the fingerings to At Pierrot's door, Mary had a little lamb, and Jingle Bells. Click the link below for the sheet music. I will be going over the music during our music class meet time.
Try to spend at least 10 minutes a day reviewing these melodies. Try singing (make sure it's the right pitch) and doing the fingering at the same time to really test yourself!
Make sure to have your music, instrument and hands ready to go before class starts.
See you soon! 🎼🎻🎸🥄🎥

***Tuning*** - If you have your own violin, PLEASE watch the youtube video below about how to tune your violin.
If you do not have a violin, it's OK. We are going to find some household items for us to practice until we get an instrument to use. Keep a positive attitude and it'll be great practice!

Due:
Do you have access to a violin to use?
If not, don't worry.
What are you going to use?
I am using a long wooden spoon found from my kitchen. Please be creative and use whatever you can find in the house. Make sure it’s long enough (about the length from your elbow to your pinkie), and that it is straight and doesn’t bend too easily.
I will be going over how to apply the tape (or markings) for your fingers during class time. For now, please find a practice violin, some colored tape or stickers or just a plain pencil marking might do the trick.
Please answer the attached google forms question. Don't forget to hit "Turn in" or "Mark as Done".
