Principal's Message

Greetings Jovita Idár Community! 

It brings me great joy to serve our school community at Jovita Idar.  As I enter my second year as principal my sights are set on expanding opportunities for our students.  Jovita Idar is a special place because of the unique opportunities we provide for our students.  This year we are providing ballet folklorico as an enrichment course during the school day, paired with exposure to mariachi instruments during music, pathways to biliteracy with world language Spanish classes and the foundations of soccer during our phyiscal education classes.  We are excited to provide artistic experiences that will connect students to multicultural traditions that bring great pride to the community we serve.   

It is truly an honor to lead and coach our wonderful teaching staff.  The teachers at Jovita Idar are the foundation of our school, preparing our children for their future endeavors.   Our team sets high expectations for learning grade level standards in reading, writing, math, science and social studies.  Our goals are to learn hard, work harder and
