Students had to write a 3 verse poem about the sun. They wrote their poem in their Orange book page 80, 81, 82. The 1st verse is about the morning (sunrise), 2nd verse about the afternoon (midday), 3rd verse about the evening (sunset). For this project, they are going to put all 3 verses together to complete their poem about the sun, starting with sunrise, then midday, and ending with sunset. In each verse they included adjectives describing the sun, what the sun was doing and what the sun saw.
Below is an example of a poem, their high-quality work checklist, and ideas on how students can present their poem project. They will not be presenting their poem in class, they will be putting it on Google Classroom and then students will be able to explore each others projects!

Los estudiantes tenían que escribir un poema de 3 versos sobre el sol. Escribieron su poema en las páginas 80, 81, 82 de su libro Naranja. El primer verso es sobre la mañana (amanecer), el segundo verso sobre la tarde (mediodía), el tercer verso sobre la tarde (puesta del sol). Para este proyecto, van a unir los 3 versos para completar su poema sobre el sol, comenzando con el amanecer, luego al mediodía y terminando con el atardecer.
