Today marks one year since we closed our doors and opened our minds to new opportunities, different ways of connecting and transformative ways of learning. While the past year has undoubtedly had its difficult times, we are proud to share the ways our Acero community has remained resilient within them. We look forward to the near future when we get to open our doors once again and bring back into the classrooms our scholars who have a new outlook about themselves, their education, and their future. Although we still have ways to go as we adjust to this new normal, we are excited to see what the future holds and are privileged to take this journey together. We are Acero. Somos Acero.

Hoy se cumple un año desde que cerramos nuestras puertas, y abrimos nuestras mentes a nuevas oportunidades, diferentes formas de conexión y formas transformadoras de aprendizaje. Aunque el año pasado, sin duda ha tenido momentos difíciles, estamos orgullosos de compartir las formas en que nuestra comunidad Acero se ha mantenido resistente, dentro de ellos. Esperamos el futuro cercano cuando podamos abrir nuestras puertas una vez más y traer de vuelta nuestros estudiantes a las aulas, que tienen una nueva perspectiva sobre sí mismos, su educación y su futuro. Aunque todavía nos queda mucho camino por recorrer para adaptarnos a esta nueva normalidad, estamos emocionados de ver lo que nos trae el futuro, y tenemos el privilegio de emprender este viaje juntos.
