WELCOME TO STEM
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
I am excited to begin a challenging, engaging, and rewarding year of STEM! During the first quarter, students will build a strong foundation in Math and Science through hands-on learning experiences. Students will take an active role in their learning by working directly with physical materials, tools, and experiments to explore concepts, solve problems, and make meaningful discoveries.
Students will not be assigned regular homework. However, if a student is unable to complete an activity during class, they may take the assignment home to finish.
Each month, I will send home a communication with information about the projects and activities we are working on, along with important dates, deadlines, and reminders. Please take a moment to read these monthly updates so you can stay informed about what is happening in STEM class.

¡Me entusiasma comenzar un año de STEM desafiante, estimulante y gratificante! Durante el primer trimestre, los estudiantes construirán una base sólida en matemáticas y ciencias mediante experiencias de aprendizaje práctico. Los alumnos participarán activamente en su aprendizaje trabajando directamente con materiales físicos, herramientas y experimentos para explorar conceptos, resolver problemas y realizar descubrimientos significativos.
No se asignarán tareas regulares para casa. Sin embargo, si un estudiante no logra completar una actividad durante la clase, podrá llevarse la tarea a casa para terminarla.
Cada mes, enviaré a casa información sobre los proyectos y actividades en los que estamos trabajando, así como fechas importantes, plazos de entrega y recordatorios. Por favor, tómese un momento para leer estas actualizaciones mensuales y así mantenerse informado sobre lo que sucede en la clase de STEM.
