Hello and welcome to Greece!

It’s  the 2025-2026 school year! I am extremely excited to guide students through their learning this year as they engage with the middle school Life Sciences Next Generation Science Standards. Please read through the parent guide to familiarize yourself with what your child will be learning, how they will learn it, and why it’s important!

I can't wait to share all of the exciting learning opportunities for students and families we have planned for this year. For those of you that are new, I send home newsletters weekly that covers what we learned in class that week, what is upcoming, and any essential information. You can also see my teacher page on our school website. Importantly, your child will have science homework EVERY DAY. To save paper, homework will be posted ONLINE, but students will complete the assignments on an answer sheet. Please reach out to Mr. Johnson if this is a problem.

¡Es el año escolar 2025-2026! Me entusiasma enormemente guiar a los estudiantes en su aprendizaje este año, mientras se involucran con los Estándares de Ciencias de la Próxima Generación de Ciencias de la Vida de la escuela secundaria. Por favor, lean la guía para padres para familiarizarse con lo que su hijo/a aprenderá, cómo lo aprenderá y por qué es importante.

Estoy deseando compartir todas las emocionantes oportunidades de aprendizaje que hemos planeado para los estudiantes y las familias este año. Para los nuevos, envío boletines semanales a casa que cubren lo que aprendimos en clase esa semana, las próximas actividades y cualquier información esencial. También pueden consultar la página de mi maestro/a en el sitio web de nuestra escuela. Es importante destacar que su hijo/a tendrá tarea de ciencias TODOS LOS DÍAS. Para ahorrar papel, las tareas se publicarán en línea, pero los estudiantes las completarán en una hoja de respuestas. Si esto les resulta difícil, por favor, contacten con el Sr. Johnson.
