Welcome to Jovita-Idar Pumas! I am the Academic Interventionist, passionate and dedicated in providing targeted support to students with diverse learning needs. Proficient in designing and implementing personalized educational plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Committed to empowering students to reach their full potential and achieve academic success. I have been in the Educational Field for 13 years. I started as a technology teacher for grades K-8. After that, I taught grades 2nd through 4th including academic interventions. I graduated from National Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a Professional Educator License endorsed in social sciences for self-contained grades K-9. When I’m not at school I like to work on various house projects decorating and designing space. I also love biking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
